Glades Resort. Gold Coast. Australia 2019
The Glades Robina golf club in Gold Coast, Australia, is set to undergo a major expansion with the addition of a 63-room hotel building and an 82-room apartment building. Designed in a modern resort and recreational style, the two new structures will feature a striking combination of white concrete and timber that will blend seamlessly with the existing landscape. Buildings will also feature a rooftop bar and lounge area, providing residents with a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful Gold Coast weather. The organic curvature of the building facades is a key element of the design, reflecting the form of the surrounding landscapes of the club. Our design approach ensures that the new buildings complement and enhance the existing golf course and surrounding natural environment. The landscape design of the area has also been given significant attention to ensure that it integrates with the new buildings and enhances the experience for visitors and residents. The landscape design is centered around sustainability and creates a balance between the built and natural environment. The new buildings are surrounded by a variety of plantings, including native species that are drought-tolerant and easy to maintain. The landscape design also includes various seating areas that offer views of the golf course and natural surroundings.
